I have a Japanese theme in my bedroom and I am always looking for new stuff to add to it. I wanted to add some paintings on the wall of some cherry blossom trees, but could not find any that I liked. I got really bummed not being able to find any, but I thought it would be better if I made my own. So I got some poster board and paint and I went to town on it. I painted the branches using dark colored paint such as dark brown or black; which is what I used. Then when that was dry, I took the bottom of an old 2 liter bottle as used it as a stamp to make the flowers on the bark. I used pink paint for that. I also looked up some Japanese symbols to add to the bottom like love and family. When it was dry, I put it inside of these black picture frames that I had. They were such a nice touch in my room and were so easy to make.
